Tracking
refers to the mindful awareness of thoughts, feelings, sensations, movement impulses, gestures and postures that one notices while experiencing what is in the present moment. Tracking is a skill that requires attention to appropriate pacing, curiosity, relaxation, wakefulness, witnessing and grounding.

Trauma resolution
refers to the process of taking an experience of overwhelm and finding empowerment and transformative healing. Samantha’s specific interest is in attachment trauma, psycho-spiritual development and somatic integration.
Fundamental tools include working with sensori-motor impulses, including defense responses, contact skills, as well as states of presence and energy awareness.

Presence
refers to a substance (sensorilly/viscerally experienced through densities and textures, visually experienced as colors or vibrational waves) filling the body giving nourishment and exposing depths of being-ness. Being-ness is the state in which one recognizes ones essential nature. It is both a personal and non personal experience.
Clients may come upon these states naturally or through facilitation. Skills will be offered to recognize these states and learn to be with them in a mindful, curious and grounded manner, so presence may be resourceful as well as bring insight and transformation.

Energy
refers to the movement of the bio-electric earth fields that may be felt as currents, temperatures, or vibrational states. Energy skill sets will enable practitioners to both ground themselves as well as offer clients ways to stay balanced, helping them with daily stressors and strengthening their capacity to do deeper psychological and body oriented healing.

Somatic
refers to the body. Practitioners will learn how feelings, thoughts and energetic imprints of experiences are held in our body through tissue memory and organization, and movement patterns that are held as tensions, pains, habits and memories.

Body systems
refers to the various systems of our physical body such as muscles, bones, nerves, connective tissue, fat, and fluids. Each body system has various ways to be contacted with touch and awareness. Tools are offered to skillfully release and unwind stored memories/energy that no longer serves a person’s present reality.

Sensori-motor
refers to the sensory (felt sense: how we receive impulses from the environment/internal and external) and motoric (how we move/motor these impulses outward into space/the environment). Impulses to reach towards, pull away from, and freeze are registered in our sensori- motor organization. Our relational ways of being, including our patterns and preferences around contact/touch, and intimacy are intertwined with our sensory motor memories. Working with these patterns will engage early developmental attachment patterns as well as later patterns in development such as boundary structuring. Practices of learned sensori -motor options increase a person’s capacity for choices of newfound self-empowerment and fulfillment with others.

Cognitive skill sets
refers to working with thought patterns, belief systems, family agreements, and contracts. Cognitive awareness will be integrated with body experiencing as a way to bring new ways of relating to oneself and others/the world.

Emotional work
refers to the waves of energy in motion (e-motion) such as sadness, joy, fear, happiness, anger, frustration, etc.. A foundational skill includes building the capacity to witness the feelings and sensations that make up our emotions. Witnessing gives us space around our experiencing which helps us have deeper contact with ourselves and navigate our experience. Mindfulness gives us support to deeply presence our emotions. Having our emotional bodies seen and felt by another is intrinsic and essential to our emotional healing. Although emotions may not be our essential nature, we can not bypass them to find ‘nirvana’, nor access our true nature in its full human potential until our emotional body has healed and matured. Inner child, self-critic and attachment work will be supported through energetic, somatic and cognitive processes.
